原盘画质较差,原生分辨率 827.6p。最大的问题是欠码,平面上噪点不多,有大量色带和色块,无论亮暗只要是纯色区域基本都有波及。欠码问题在 OP 部分更是令人发指,蚊噪与色块齐飞,部分场景中的块状瑕疵甚至已经扭曲了线条。至于线条质量也十分堪忧,锯齿相当严重,部分场景还带有极强的艺术风格,基本上没有润线,让人眼前一黑(参考最后一组截图)。综合以上问题,我们使用了自适应去色块、逆向拉升重构、较强的抗锯齿和去色带,还有补偿性锐化。由于本片噪点强度不高,加之纹理强度较弱,我们仅做了轻度的降噪。OP 部分的欠码强度已经超出去色块可以解决的范畴,因此我们单独使用了基于神经网络的降噪算法,以改善观感(参考第一组截图)。
The source with a native resolution of 827.6p has poor quality, and the biggest problem is the lack of bitrate. There's not much noise on the flat area, but plenty of banding and blocking, occurring everywhere with solid color, no matter bright or dark. The problem is especially egregious in the opening. Blocking with or without grain is rampant, in some scenes even squeezed the lines. Then for the lines, things didn't get better. The severe aliasing in them, with strong art styles in certain parts, and basically no line smoothing, made for a bleak watching experience. (please see the last set of comparisons.) To address all the issues above, we applied adaptive de-blocking, descaling and reconstruction, aggressive anti-aliasing and de-banding, and compensatory sharpening. Since the source doesn't have much noise or texture either, we only applied mild denoising. The lack of bitrate in the opening part is too strong to be handled by regular de-blocking algorithms, so we specifically used an NN-based denoising algorithm to keep the watching experience (please refer to the first pair).
